Been in the micro car game for a loooong time, mostly active with the Honda Beat. Since I have been without my Beat now (stuck in Japan) for 10 years, I bought a Copen..... Hi OzSamurai, I am in Melbourne and I have noted other regulars in copenworld (long time copen owners) who live around Melbourne and often contribute advice on the forum. I had sorta vaguely considered a mod or two, or even interior upgrades like carpet replacement and seat retrim, but got put off by lack of local expertise and parts then also found it difficult to (1) browse Japanese sites, and (2) actually know what to buy and ship here without it costing an arm and a leg.
TicTac, Just got back from a drive from Melb. I am way up in country Victoria (Swan Hill). Best make a time at least once to do a meet if there are enough of us. If you find things you want etc. just let me know, and as lots of owners did in the UK, we chipped in for shipping a "big box" of stuff every now and then...
