    Could you please help with a recommendation for a new ‘stereo’. I’ve read some old threads which - to be frank - I don’t always follow.

    I think what I need is:
    One that’s the right size;
    One that has the same slots for the wiring at the back;
    A satnav;
    A FM (rather than DAB) radio;
    Bluetooth connectivity; and
    One with USB slots.

    I don’t want to be able to use my ‘phone while driving and there seems no need for a CD slot these days.

    Do let me know if there’s anything else I should be thinking of. I’ve seen Nick G’s two very helpful installation videos on You Tube.

    Thanks in anticipation.

    I guess anything that runs android might work for the navigation part. You could install the Navmi app, which I use in my phone and is pretty damn good...

    Copen, no other car.
    The default radio is a standard one-unit size.
    If you take this out and take out the clock there will be room for a standard '2u' or 'Double Din' size.
    Nearly all after-market satnav radio units are double din size.
    The connection plug into the back of the radio is also standard and will fit into nearly all aftermarket devices.
    So it is pretty certain that whatever you go for, it will fit.
    FWIW my replacement stereo (made by Retrosound) has FM and USB and fitted fine. The OH has a SatNav radio (by Clarion) and this double-din unit also fitted fine with no wiring modifications needed.
