Oh no! While cleaning the car yesterday, I spotted this on one of the front wheelarches. Any advice on what I should do about it before it gets any worse? I've also noticed a few tiny bubbles right on the front lip of the bonnet, although the paint is still intact. copen.JPG

I had similar on my 2009 model and gave it a spray with ACF50. That kept it at bay until I had the sill resprayed.

Thanks for that – sounds like good stuff.

You know what, @Robbiemac, I had exactly the same problem (lol :D) and spent a little time last year sorting it: liners lifted away, rust rubbed down to bare metal, etch primer sprayed on, then some layers of white stonechip paint before a few silver topcoats. Not as perfect as a paid spray job, but it does the biz and once the liner's back in place, looks fine.

That's a decent job there. Looks like you got to it just in time too!

I would be happy with that repair. I've done similar before on a classic car and just thought yep I'm going to have a Go, will wait till the better weather and post some pics, have a couple of areas so will do one at a time.
