I've fancied one for a few years now, and have a fondness for cute, quirky and impractical cars (Currently have a Smart fortwo, and have had two Roadsters in the past). I test drove a Copen 2 years ago and liked it but the salesman kept ignoring me and talking to my husband ..who couldn't care less about cars as he's a cycle nut... so I walked away. Now I feel the need and am actively looking for a reasonable model to use as a daily run around. Any tips on what to be looking for and what to avoid? I gather that rust is a major problem.. what else? Do they leak badly (one of my roadsters was a goldfish bowl of the car til I sorted the seals)? Roof electrics? Anything else? I'm not particularly bothered whether it's a 1.3 or a .66 model but if there are major differences, please advise me I'm willing to spend up to 5k on the right car. Thanks in advance!
