K3 VE - K3 VET CONVERSION

    Hello Copeners!!!

    I have copen 1.3lt 2008 model(atmospheric).
    Can i convert engine with K3 VET from yrv turbo??
    Fits this engine in my car?
    Has someone made this conversion?

    2005 0.7L Copen
    The YRV and Copen share a number of parts (electronic anyway, dunno about mechanical), so it may be possible. Dunno if you'd be able to fit a turbo in with the 1.3L engine.

    To answer the question, though...
    They do also share a clutch, from what I've heard.
    This would indicate a potential for the gearbox to be the same also.
    I think your biggest challenge will likely be getting the dash cluster signals right, along with getting the turbo and intercooler to fit behind the front grille.
