Dexcided to spend the children's inheritance, and what a better way to do so than buying an 04 Copen. I'm almost as excited as I was with my Alfa Sprint 1.3 many years ago, but this time with a magic engine half the size (to keep my carbon foorprint small ...). Just need some advice - the suspension seems rather hard (even accepting that there is not much clearance to play with) and the fillings in my teeth may start coming loose on uneven rouds. Is this normal (the suspension, not the fillings of course)?
Hi Pierre, Welcome to Copenworld. Hard suspension comes as standard. You'll learn to steer around bumps.
What Adam says is true! You learn to drive with one eye on the traffic and the other on the road surface. Hit a pot hole, and you'll launch into space! Enjoy!
yep, totally normal suspension - think the word is 'sports suspension' ! I drove a different car for the first time in ages yesterday and it felt like I was driving while sitting on a tall stool! - I can only imagine how it would feel if I was in a range rover.
i drove a hyundai i10 and that felt tall and boxy and also could feel the body roll straight away after being used to a sporty suspension low riding copen... i tell ya the copen has a brilliant chasis
