Are you allowed to have it on while driving? Is its not meant to be for when people display their car at shows rather than a driving accessory?

If it interferes with your reward view then I'll guess the Police would request you turn it off. Even if its not in direct line of sight, the light may reflect off the rear window reducing your view.

I don't think I've ever seen one in use, in the flesh as it were, on a moving car so does that suggest its not legal or few people want one.

Personally I do like the electric blue colour.

Sitting in the car with it on at night, doesn't seem to restrict my view as i can see straight through it, even with it on so its good that way! That i'm not sure, Only one way to find out i guess. Straight into the cigarette lighter for just now, so you can turn it off and on whenever suits you. They did them in white, Blue and pink. But no red to match the seats and the pink seemed a little too pink if you get me.

I've seen trucks cabs lite up at night with loads of LED's, why not in a car.
    I'd just go for it.

I think the problem is showing light other than red at the back of your car/ truck. A trucks lit up cab wouldn't show the light to the rear unlike the LEDs on mattmac's Copen.

    Edit:
Just had a look and it states white light to the rear. Not sure if blue LEDs could be classed as white light though.

I can see your thinking about red would have been better and legal. See legal DeaGle above. Although I like the blue I'd not have with a red theme.

Hey a pink one, grab one while you can DaG!

or are there any yellow ones? Just thought that would blend in better in a Morrison's petrol station. :)

If its out of the ordinary then the police wont like them, just like the under car neons featured of Fast & Furious. Just keep it for showing off in the Copen meets, it will be a talking point for sure.

    Well done for being unique.:D

Thanks Japaneazi! :) I will do just that, my intention originally was to take my Copen to meets but because a lot of them are down south, its a longish drive but i can see it being worth it to meet other copen owners! :D

Love the light, looks fab. Got me thinking though, I wonder how legal a red one would be that was wired up to the brake lights! Hmmmm now there's an idea :D

From what DaG put, red would be fine as seen from the rear.

Hi Bronaldo! i have been driving about with this for a while now at night, does not distract me in the slightest and can still see through the wind deflector with the light on. Local police do not mind which is great :) you can get it from here http://global.rakuten.com/en/store/auc-mickcorp/item/5449/

    Thanks, Matt.
