I couldn't find an answer on old threads as to whether or not this treatment is worth the cost - I've been quoted £395 by 'Ultimate Rust Protection'. Sorry if I didn't look hard enough.

My position is that I don't want to do this job myself and I'm concerned that paintwork and/or wheels might be left damaged. I've read various Waxoyl versus Dinitrol debates but my local centre only does Waxoyl.

And how often should this be done; every other year?

    I'd welcome your views.

I had mine done this year as I didn't want to do it myself and had a couple of bubbles appear. I had the rust removed properly and then rust proofed everywhere. If you have found a reliable place that know what they are doing it is worth paying for. I had quotes from £50 to over £500. I ended up paying about £350 - £400 I think as I wanted to know it would be done properly.
