North essex rag tops are able to get discounts for insurance,we are a reckonised club(with mgf/mgtf/mx5's etc) I have been speaking to them regarding the copens and have the following information The copen can be classified as a classic car,obtaining the same benifits as the other models stated,as an example for our TF on agreed limited milage of 3000 miles,garaged,use of another car less than £180 per year,the catch is that this can only apply to the very first copens as the cars must be 10 years or older(fully comp with agreed value) They are confident that their normal policies will be more than competive,no need to prove the alarm issue some are having, Please speak to Peter Best Insurances on (classic)01376 573033 Normal policies on 01376 573357 Any issues ask for Richard Tague, I hope this can be of help Gavin
