Hello everyone I have a vivid red copen 2005 I have just noticed it has a dig above the headlight about the size off a 50p. It goes down to the silver metal underneath. Should i fill it first and where can i get a paint pen from? Thanks sharon A good start to the new year
Hello Sharon, welcome to Copenworld. I have the Vivid Copen too, good choice. The paint code can be found under the bonnet on the firewall The paint code for the red Copen is R40 (check under your bonnet to be sure though). In the service manual in section A1-27 you'll find the list of paint codes & equivalent codes for certain paint manufacturers. Halfords can mix the paint for into a touch up bottle. You could go to your local Daihatsu dealer & buy a touch up pen too. For your damage I would suggest taking it to a paint shop to fix it.
vivid copen Thanks Adam thats brill I found the serial number and colour shining red in the door. Halfordsis 2 minutes up the road to me. I will take your advise and take it into a garage to look at before doing it. Thanks again Sharon
