Hi All! I joined the form recently to gain some info on the copen before buying. Well yesterday i picked up my first copen and my first car! and i absolutely adore it!
Mate, it's a lovely looking car. I know because I took that same one for a test drive a month ago. I would have bought it but i was a bit unsure about the condition of the underside. Maybe spent its short life near the coast? not sure. Anyways prob still would have had it if the price was right but the 'boss' wasn't about so couldn't get a decision on price. We ended up getting another elsewhere. Welcome to the club!
Hi dunf! sorry just seen this there. I have checked the under side, there are some bits needing done like the exhaust but structurally its sound. Couple of bits round the front right wheel arch very light though. Getting a stainless steel exhaust for it next month hopefully should sort half of that problem out! thanks for the warm welcome!
Nice looking Jimny, even nicer for a first car. i'm 23 and currently on my 5th car - the copen. i wouldn't think of a copen for a first car, good on you! Just joined here myself and need to get pics, welcome
Wow, Matt - that looks absolutely mint! I picked up mine from North Wales last month, with a similar mileage, but the nearside has suffered a little from the attentions (or should I say inattention) of fellow car park users and could do with a little tlc. Still, all in good time. You are defo going to enjoy that little car - good on ya!
Thanks everyone! i loved the look of it soon as i seen it plus it wasnt your average day to day fiesta or corsa, nothing wrong with them but you see them all the time. Copen is so rare though! all in good time Jules, i bet your car is a wee cracker! So far there has not really been any problems! just need to wait till the summer to drop the roof! thanks for the warm welcomes!
