Hi everyone, after coming close to buying a Copen a few times over the last decade, I have finally got one.

I've not seen it myself yet but delivery is arranged for Monday and I can't wait - here's a picture from the advert:

It's been off the road a few years but passed an MOT without advisories this week. It does have a couple of issues but nothing major - the alternator is a little noisy, the roof intermittently doesn't work (although I hear they don't like hot weather) and the aircon doesn't cut in despite holding gas.

This is my first turbo petrol car and I wanted one that needed a few bits doing as I intend to eventually go for a bit more power and some light track use once I have run it for a while to make sure it's all OK.

It's a fairly early one, being on an 03 plate and seems to be Japanese spec - 8500rpm redline, speedo face looks different so seems to have been converted etc. Not really sure what else was different to look.

I had hoped I would be able to get a D-SPORT ECU as an easy starting point but this appears to need an earlier version of it which is like rocking horse cack, so if anyone knows the whereabouts of a used one that would ship to the UK please let me know! Have been checking Yahoo Auctions but nothing found as of yet.

Nice to be here, and hopefully will be able to share some useful info with the forum as well as finding answers to my niggly problems.
