OK, they maybe sounds crazy... but I want to make my roof openening and closing system automated... for if I park the car to shop, that I can close the roof, and if I then want to leaf I can open it... BUT, if you just leave the safety clams on top of the frontshield open, you can open the roof because first windows go down, and then the roof opens. so this one is not a problem. BUT, when I want to close the roof, the roof comes up. THEN I HAVE TO CLOSE THE 2 SAFETY CLAMS before I can close the side windows... (otherwise the side windows will not close) Now I would like to know, how can I disable this 2 safety clams, so that I can also close the roof + side windows by 1 click...
There is a small micro switch (metal leaf) in the front "socket" that the saftey clamp connects. When the clamps are in place this is pressed and allows the side windows to go up. I sometimes press the microswitch with my finger while the roof is down which allows me to popup the small rear side windows (good when driving on the motorway).
