Hi All, Just purchased our first Copen. Absolutely love it already, however there is a noticeable difference on the 2 sides of the boot. On the right hand side (side view of the car) the gap between the car and the boot in minimal and looks good. On the right hand side, the gap is larger and looks almost open still. I can push the boot down on the left hand side but it does not stay. Any ideas on how i could sort this issue out as it looks a bit uneven! Many thanks!
Try to park on flat area, not on slope. Some claimed that the boot lid doesn't fully close on slope. Hope it helps.
Hi Wilder86, Welcome to Copenworld. The boot lid should automatically pull itself tightly closed. Press the internal boot release button in the centre console. This resets the roof system. Then try to close the boot lid again. Can you hear the motor sounds on both sides as the boot lid is pulled closed? As Jaspark says try on a flat surface. On the underside of the boot lid I think there are some rubber adjustment feet (same as on the underside of the bonnet). These screw in & out to adjust the height of the closed level. Check one of them isn't adjusted incorrectly.
I had this with mine - somehow the release tag had been pulled They twist through 90degrees to release - after that it locked nice and tight again x
