with this being my first copen i am not sure how the engines should sound, mine sounds very rattly on idle if that makes any sense? just wanted to check if i have anything to worry about, its had regular oil changes in the service book and is just under 70k miles, seems to run fine but makes a lot of noise. thanks for any input. neill.
mmmmmmmmmmmm. Mine sounds quiet and sweet. It might be worth getting it checked out? I don't want to worry you but I'd see a mechanic. It could be something simple like a loose belt but you'd be better to see to it before it gets worse. Sorry to be so negative and I hope it's a simple fix. M.
will do, got to go and get the rear arches looked at anyway so will get daihatsu to have a listen while i am there.
got to daihatsu yesterday, the mechanic thinks the noise is nothing to worry about just a bit of a chain rattle, and we are waiting to hear if they will repair the arch bubbles.
