Recently, I have noticed that when I drive with the top down and aircon off, there is a noticeable hot air in the driver footwell. It is very likely coming from the engine itself. I can't remember if it has always been this way ever since I started driving it.

Do you guys have this problem?

I can't say I have ever noticed this. But then in the UK this would be a good thing - even in summer. ;)

I would be more surprised if you had it with the air con on.

Is your heater turned to the red zone, even if fan is off?

Since I am in Singapore, my heater is always in the blue zone. :)
At times I would drive with bermudas/shorts in the evening, so the hot air is more obvious.

I just wondered is hot water was going through the heater matrix and even though fan not on some convection was occurring that you could feel. Does it feel warm or more noticeable on the leg on the centre console side?

DaG frequently has problems with hot air......but fortunately his car is alright. :D

Yes, the centre console is kind of hot. It could be a lack of air circulation that caused the air in the foot well area to be hotter maybe.
