Hi I have noticed a really bad knocking noise over the past few days, this got worse this evening when i was putting the car in reverse it was vibrating through the car. It sounds like its coming from the back drivers side wheels. At first I thought it was my exhaust but checked this and everything is fine Does anyone have any ideas what it may be?? Thanks to anyone that can help
Best get it checked at a garage. Does the hand brake work okay? Is the wheel sitting in the wheel arch right? Measure from the top of the tyre to the wheel arch ( see how many fingers fit in the gap). Is it the same both sides? My thoughts are a problem with the suspension or seized brake drum.
