I wanted to say Hello to my fellow Copen owners My story began when i was on vacation in Spain and saw a Copen parked by the side of the road. I think i stood there for and hour just looking with only one though in mind - i have to get this! And so i did, bough it in Germany (we don't have Daihatsu dealers in Poland) My inspiration for the beginning was the KM Copen, I love the retro look. Unfortunately the KM prices are just crazy, so i started looking for alternatives. I ordered a pair of chrome metal bumpers for a 1967 VW beetle, with bumper guards. The tricky part was that the bumpers had a different curve and needed to be adjusted. So i had the bumpers cut, re-shaped and chrome again to make them fit. A lot of work but i am happy
wow - it looks absolutely fantastic - you have done a great take on the KM copen. I really like your wheels and the cut out badge at the back
The wheels look good with that combination of colour and the bumpers, nice work. The tyres look wider than standard, what size are they adamthenumberoneman? Does anybody know of any bumpers that fit onto the Copen without having to alter the curve of the bumpers?
Good to see you here Adam! Great looking car you have... please share with us more photos of your modding process.
Hi Adam, very happy to see you and your Copen stilll cruising through Poland. Really admire your Copen, beautifully and tastefully done. Andreas
