Just recently joined, I bought my Copen in 2003 but after an accident it has sat untouched for about 5 years and I am in the process of trying to get it back on the road. Unfortunately the mice got in and chewed the wires up a bit but I think I got them all fixed up.The problem I am having at the moment is getting petrol up to the engine, the relay is working and I have replaced the pump which is working fine but still no luck any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm no expert so probably not going to come up with anything you've missed, but fuel lines seem the most likely if the pump is working but nothing coming through. Can you disconnect the fuel line at the engine end and check it's pumping through?
If you haven't already downloaded it, there's a service manual in the resources section which might help.

Oh and just because I once fixed a brand new £250,000 machine after 2 trained engineers and 3 experienced printers hadn't been able to for a month, you do have petrol in the tank right? :p I ask because I 'fixed' that machine by turning on the tap to the water supply at the wall, sometimes people miss stuff.

Thanks Vin I have petrol in the tank and I also took the hose off at the engine and checked that but still nothing. I also checked the petrol pump relay in the fuse box and was hoping there was maybe a fuse or cut off feature that I was not aware of. I hope its not a blocked fuel line I don't really want to rip that out, thanks again for your input i will keep looking.

Take the hose off both ends and blow it out with compressed air.
I had a Datsun where the hose blocked up from lack of use and that's what I did to fix it.

If it has crap in it it would be worth putting an inline filter near the motor for a while once it's going to catch any more crap before it gets to the injectors.

    Thanks jez77
Good idea I will give that a try and see if anything comes out, I have the tank out at the moment so I should be able to do that quite easily.

My Copen has been sitting for many years also, and have same issue, no petrol to engine.
Checked all relays/fuses etc all seems fine electrically, have purchased new petrol pump which I was going to install next weekend.
Will also clear entire hose with compressed air also thanks for the idea Jez77
