Need to change the gear gaitor as ours is getting very worn,
1, how do you get the panel off that covers the gaitor?

2, do you know how it's attached to the plastic cover

3, anyone done this and can recommend a supplier

    Cheers

I had a problem with the plastic ring in Rex's picture below falling into the console while driving. The tabs that can be seen that hold the bits together weren't doing their job properly. If your tabs are weak warm them up with a hair dryer and bend them back slightly holding them until they cool. Maybe I'm unlucky though and the only person who's ever had that problem.:)
My gaiter is in VGC so I haven't replaced it. That red stitching does look nice though so I think I might be tempted. I've been put off because I bought a leather gaiter for a Citroen and it was a pig to fit. It seems the Copen gaiter is a lot easier.

Edit: Just noticed on Adams link that somebody else had the tabs problem and jammed card in them to hold it all in place. So it's not just me, good.:D
