Thanks Adam, it's home! Sadly I've got a cold, so no roof down action, and only drove until I got home. Was really surprised how glued to the road I felt. Didn't get that feeling when I test drove. Despite feeling like sh*te, I was smiling all the way home!

First problem, gear knob. It's a momo, and the middle bit is loose so it rattles at higher revs. So, new gear knob required. Question is, do all momo gear knobs fit?

I'm not sure the momo knob is standard. I haven't seen a Copen momo knob accessory.
However there are universal fit momo knobs available.
These are usualy retained with small grub screws at the base of the knob.

The standard knob is a spherical metal ball type that is screwed on.

This is the Copen accessory version.

Cheers! I found a similar looking one on ebay, (it has a momo steering wheel too). Hoping I'm feeling better tomorrow to take it for a spin. Bit worried about speed bumps, feels a hell of a lot lower than my Puma!

I'm glad you enjoyed the drive. ;)
Speed bumps are fine. You won't leave you bumper behind. Just go really slow. The suspension is pretty stiff.

It's been a good week so far in the copen. Had the roof down on friday, bloody cold, but it was spontaneous, need a hat next time, I have long hair and it was going everywhere.
Bought a momo gear knob off ebay, but it has no threads, no fittings at all, it's also quite light so I don't think it's authentic. Going to see if I can salvage anything from the one that's currently on and fit it some how, but I might end up getting an authentic one from somewhere else.
