Hi all, I’m a very new owner of an 2004 little green copen in the UK. I’ve wanted one for years and since having scratched the Nissan figaro itch some years ago have now moved on to this one. The one I’ve bought may or may not be a bit of a banger so I’m trying to figure that out now and hoping to learn lots about this little car. Thanks for existing! :)

There is a huge amount of info on this forum which you can work your way through at your leisure. As a 1.3 owner myself, I’m not so familiar with the vagaries of the 0.7 turbos, except that the regular oil changes are absolutely vital; every 3,000 miles if memory serves me correctly. But they’re both great models, which must inevitably become rarer as the years fly by......

Assuming the website howmanyleft.co.uk is accurate, there are only 2,000 Copens left in the UK, with 300 of those off the road; a dwindling resource.

Thanks both - yes I’m keen to bring it back to life as much as I can afford. Seems my car doesn’t have some of the typical issues that others are experiencing, but it does have some mechanical problems and a fair bit of corrosion in places. Looking forward to working through the manual :)
