I am Cindy Reynolds! I am new here. To the moderators, thanks for accepting.

What brought me here though is the fact that I am planning to buy (very soon) a Copen and I am here to read and research some more. Though I have read and watched videos (lots of it) I still want to know more about it. I am so glad that we have forum solely dedicated to Copen.

    Can't wait!!!

    Thanks!

    Hi Cindy,

I’m surprised the Copen is available in California so you may have to hunt for a good one. I’ve only been an owner for a little over a year but the forum has some great people with a vast amount of Copen knowledge so you’re in the right place.

    Good luck.

As far as I'm aware, you can't legally import a Copen into the USA yet. You can sneak it in illegally, but if you get pulled over and caught, your car will be crushed.

The first Copens were built in 2002, so you can't import one to the USA until 2027 under the 25 year rule.

Honda Beat, Mazda Autozam A1 or Suzuki Cappuccino are options since they were all in production before 1993.
