Hi Copenfan, welcome to Copenworld. All you need to know when buying is in the guide. Essentially always go for the car with a great service history.
thanks for the welcome folks, ill spend some time looking through previous posts to find any answers i need, I will post when i find a car that looks ok, btw is there anywhere else than ebay and auto trader so look for a copen? thanks
Hi Copenfan. Welcome. I am far from an expert but the 2 things I wish I had known about before buying are......RUST Look for rust in wings and cills. Service history.......with an oil change needed VERY regularly (every 3000 miles on the 650cc), a good service history is a VERY good idea. The turbo is delicate and need to be looked after. This forum has a great number of very able contributors and you have made a good decision to enquire before buying. I bought in a hurry and was lucky.. Would I recommend a Copen? ABSOFLIPPINLUTLEY.......Enjoy. Oh. and where to look?....try gumtree.
Hi Copenfan Preloved is also worth a look. There's usually a few on there (although some of them are also on ebay). Good luck in your search.
