Hello all!

    I'm on here in my capacity as a mechanic looking for an oil filter removal tool for a a copen turbo, can anyone point me in the right direction? thanks

    My experience is with the genuine Daihatsu oil filter. Other makes don't all fit through the gap in the engine mount.
    The oil filter tool on Amazon (mentioned in the above three link) is a tight fit on the genuine oil filter. It needs modifying a bit to fit well.
    I now have the genuine Daihatsu oil filter wrench, which is perfect for the job.
    (Daihatsu part number 09228-87201-000)
    The oil filter can be accessed at the front. Remove the grill, bumper (you only need to undo one side), air box & intercooler pipe off the turbo.
