Hi there everyone, I drove my lovely little Copen home yesterday for the first time & took great delight in the admiring glances of other road users and pedestrians along the way. What a fantastic and memorable journey that was. I have just bought a personalised plate from DVLA and intend replacing the current one as soon as I am permitted but think I might struggle to obtain the unique Copen rear plate shape. Any ideas? Many Thanks, All Good Things One & All, N
Hi Nev, Welcome to Copenworld. There is this company on ebay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Daihatsu-...arts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item338240f816 However I believe that someone has bought one of these & it didn't quite fit. You could try an ex-Daihatsu dealer to make you one up. http://daihatsu.co.uk/index2.php Or try taking your old plate to a local motor factors to see if they could make one up for you?
Welcome! Nice to see someone else from the Midlands. Can you narrow it down a bit? Would be nice to look out for you.
You might be interested in our annual meet then if your in the Midlands. https://www.copenworld.com/vb3/showthread.php?t=1458
Hi Adam, thank you for contacting me. Yes, I might be interested in the annual meet up, when & where exactly is it planned for? Ooops, I guess you might have provided details in your link, excuse me but I am still rather unfamiliar with this site. all Good Things, N
See what I mean? I thought I was responding to your other message. Thank you so much for the number plate tips, I will let you know how I get on. All Good things, N
Hi there, I used to live in Leicestershire too many years ago, in Anstey. I am now in rural Northants. Yeah, keep your eyes open All Good Things, N
I guess that's part of the appeal. Hey, who looks twice at those so called mini's that seem to be everywhere & those darn Aston Martins? N
same with me... never seen a copen when im in mine and in i think 4 years ive only ever seen a silver copen on 4 occasions and thats it excluding mine of course
Strange isn't it, we saw one in Cheltenham the day we were collecting our 'Dotty' and another one, exactly the same parked up in Long Buckby on our way home the same day. Actually, I was a little put out & for a micro moment & thought someone was stalking me. All Good Things, Nev
