    Hi everyone,

I have just noticed that the centre console does not illuminate when I turn on the lights. This is a pain when driving at night and you can't see the heater controls etc.

Is there a bulb(s) in the centre consul that should light the dials?

I don't want to strip the console down if there is no bulb to look for.

I'm pretty sure there is no light there, I've never noticed it being a problem but I put in a double din radio not long after I got mine and that lights up the centre consol a bit.

Also I'm a girl so if it's dark the heater is on full - no need to look at it :rofl::rofl:

Yes there are little bulbs inside the dash behind the heater dials. You have to take out the radio and the surrounding frame to get to them.

You can get the bulbs in any auto parts store, no fancy stuff. Note there are little "condoms" over the bulb to tint them red, don't lose them :D

I have just found and taken out the bulbs and they are smaller than 501/w5 bulbs.
I have measured it and look online and it appears to be a T5 bulb. T5 bulb.jpg
