Can anyone please help? My 2008 Copen has following issue; hazards flash constantly and very quickly. Relay intermittently emits rapid 'drumming' sound. Removal of fuse only way to stop it. Fuse appears fine. Changed relay, albeit for a second hand one, made no difference. Everything appears normal at ignition position 2, the one before starting, hazards and indicators work fine, but once engine is started fault presents. Would like to remove dashboard switch but have no idea how to access it. Any pointers most gratefully received!

Do you by any chance have a car alarm (or any aftermarket remote door locking) installed? It would seem highly unlikely to me that the hazard switch would fail, if it would remain closed the relay would still have to do its regular job of flashing intermittently.
