Hi, just joined Copenworld in search of hints and tips. My Vivid is 10yrs old, I had it from new and it has been a solid motor. A few recent ECU issues have arisen causing me to start to take note, the most recent being a misfire, I initially ( as a result of searches on the web) feared a failed coil pack and spent weeks trying to locate a replacement. As it happens, once I loaned a 10mm socket and spark plug socket found that it was just a broken spark plug! I am now looking at doing my own servicing, esp as the last bill, inc MOT was £266. Hopefully some tips from here will help? Dermot

count yourself lucky - when my spark plug broke it fell into the engine and now it's not worth the cost of repair
