How about a gallery section where members can post photos of their Copen? I would like to see some photos of a 1.3 red Copen with the rear spoiler as all the red photos around seem to be the 600cc or brochure pics.

A few users have posted pictures in the Introductions forum, and there are a some pictures of the red Copen here from member "jcw".

According to our poll, we've got at least 5 members with a red Copen, so maybe one of them will be able to share more pictures if you ask nicely. :D

Currently, members are invited to post pictures in the introductions forum, but I've added a dedicated gallery to the wishlist, so look out for that appearing in the future.

    Aitch,
Below are a few pics of my 57 plate just after I picked it up.
I hope these are the type of pics you want to see :) :)

    Nice pics Coxsie.

I see you've debadged. I've partly debadged mine - I've taken the Daihatsu stickers off. I'm seriously considering removing the rest now...

I've removed all stickers & badges accept the Copen one on the back, I think it looks better and keeps people guessing

That seems like the ideal option to me. I think I'll go for that!

I've seen some instructions here. Is that how you did yours?

What an absolutely gorgeous Copen. Red suits it so well.

I see you also have the little chrome trims on the dash air vents. Did you fit them or were they there when you bought your Copen?

Just read through the instructions again, I did not use adhesive remover, once the badge was removed with the dental floss the glue residue just rolled away fairly easily.

Thanks, I'll give it a go, probably next weekend.

As you suggested, I'll look to add some instructions in the "How To" section once I've tested the theory!

Resurrecting an old thread, but still think a Gallery section is a good idea, all pictures available in one location. Is there a possibility for this to happen?

There is an extension to the forum software I can use for galleries, but I do have to pay extra for it, and I'm not sure how good it is.

No promises, but I'll take another look at it when I get a bit of spare time to see how feasible it is. :)

Thanks for at least looking at the option.

Hello David. I would love to see a picture forum myself. I feel that it would increase the general interactions of our members, because it would naturally gravitate to being a more light hearted forum with less of the dry techy stuff. Which in turn could to make Copenworld a more active and social place to go to. It feels to me like this may have been lacking in recent times, at least since I've joined a year ago, when I compare the amount of member interactions now, compared to looking back at threads from five years ago or more.

We're a global community and even if we don't all speak English well, we can still relate to other Copen owners through photo's of their cars and of their Copen travels. I think those pictures would be really eyeopening and informative as to how other people and their Copens live and drive.

Also, may I suggest that a regular forum framework could work fine for our purposes? The paid for gallery extension offered by XenForo looks to be ideal for forums that are naturally picture heavy, such as photography or gaming, but wouldn't an extra regular forum be perfectly adequate for our purposes?

Many thanks to you David for your continued undertaking to pay for and maintain Copenworld. It's a far better place to go for Copen resources and learning than social media.
