Hi just thought. I would let you all know the problems I have had fitting new clutch cable , the first thing is the heater matrix. Stops the cable from coming out cleanly , so I had to cut the steel to the bolt hole and pull the steel apart to make the hole bigger , as the adjuster would not go though , I then super glued the steel back. plate to the rubber bung so this did not move about when trying to pull back though when I pulled old cable though the sound matting was stopping the back plate so I had to move this away while trying to pull cable into position , after 10 mins of pulling I got it all in position now was the problem of the bigger hole I tapped the steel back into place. And used a penny washer behind a inch across to hold whole thing back together but if you have a mig just tack the steel together. And that's how I did it without removing the heater matrix , I might make a bracket. To fix and weld over the bigger hole. But at present. It all looks fine.

Ditto regarding degree of difficulty for access to replace the clutch cable, see my post of how I did it in other thread "Clutch Cable Replacement".
