    A lovely clear sunny day!
Time for a drive with the roof down.

Well I had a nice drive out. I even fitted the tonneau.
Everything was fine until the exhaust started blowing & knocking on the underside.
The exhaust has cracked & sagged just before the baffle.
Kwikfit (the only exhaust garage open on a Sunday) didn't list the Copen for the exhaust.
Looks like I'll have to phone the dealer in the morning for a price of a front section. I think this is going to be expensive!
Might be time for a stainless steel system.

Sorry to hear of exhaust problem - hope it's sorted OK. Had mine down today too. A bit chilly after a while but nice to feel the wind in my hair again.

Too cold here for an open top drive. (Belfast)

Don't buy the Daihatsu exhaust. I had a stainless steel one fitted locally for £350. Ten year guarantee. A big saving, even against the mild steel original system.

Price for the front exhaust section from Daihatsu:
£269 fitted including new gaskets, fixings & VAT.
I must admit I was expecting alot more than that.

The twin pipes were replaced in July by the previous owner. So for now I'm going with the standard Daihatsu exhaust.
