OK, OK, well maybe not brand-spanking new, but about as close as yer gonna get ... until the all-new Copen makes an appearance: http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classif.../page/1/engine-size-cars/1l_to_1-3l?logcode=p Just 5700 on the clock (least I've seen since a 3000 miler sold in Northern Ireland) so not really run-in yet! Guess it's about as close to a new Copen as you're likely to see.
my copen just went past the 100000 miles point - my work recently relocated to a place 23 miles away so that's about 250 miles a week....
Congratulations! It's good to read about a well used Copen I hope to get there myself one day Has anyone else in the UK clocked up more than this ?
Fair enough Phill - mind you, finding a proper 659cc kei Copen with a very low mileage like yours is a big ask. Perhaps this fits the bill - with just 15000 on the clock: http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classif...om/500/postcode/ca263xz/radius/1500?logcode=p Don't tell me, red's the 'wrong' colour!! LOL
Mind you, here's a 2005 in pearlescent white with just 15800 miles on it ... but at £8k???? http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classif...stcode/ca263xz/make/daihatsu/page/4?logcode=p
for me the paint is worthless - you are going to get the majority of that car resprayed at some point. Why pay extra 2-3k for the white paint?? just wait and respray it white?
Hi Jules. Thanks for the reply to my comment. No, red is not the wrong colour, it is absolutely the right colour for a Copen in my humble opinion. I wish that a 659cc in red with that sort of mileage was available when I bought Buzz, especially at that price! As for the white one, nah! they can keep that for me, and that price is just a bit silly Looking forward to May when Buzz comes out of hibernation for 6 months Cheers! Phill.
Fair enough, Copencat - wise words. Anyway, one of the pictures suggests a sizeable dent in the driver's door, so £8K looks even more silly! Yes, Phill, roll on May - might even be sunny! Bet Buzz cannot wait to get his little Bridgestones warmed up, hey?
Buzz is champing at the bit :-(( but he doesn't wear Bridgestones. When he got his new set of OZ Superturismos, he insisted on Toyo Proxes T1Rs. The treads look fantastic and they grip like hell! We are impressed Cheers! Phill and Buzz.
every tyre product i read always says that the stopping distance in wet for our size tyres is bad - maybe just cause they are so small! so be interested to know your opinion of the Toyo in wet.
Chick Magnet??! Well, I guess that's one way to describe a Copen ... this one's been on Gumtree for a week or two: http://www.gumtree.com/p/cars-vans-...r-with-full-year-mor/1058512673#photo-content What interests me is that the vendor describes this as a 'Limited Edition' with contrast roof and alloys. Is that just sales-fluff or was that actually offered as a definite spec option?
