e-mail notifications for PM's

    Hi Adam,

    you will find the option "Receive Email Notification of New Private Messages" in the "Private Messaging" section in your User Options.

    Can that be set to a preset "on" for new members?

    The default can be changed for new users, but from a privacy point of view, I prefer it if users have to opt in to receiving emails rather than opt out.

    Users can also change the setting during registration if they wish.
