    Hi
just acquired my copen to discover the drivers side door does not lock manually I have 2 grey keys and a remote both keys lock and unlock the passemger side and the remote locks both doors the lock works from inside as well I am assuming there is something wrong with the door lock internally and not electrical ?

Does the key turn the lock or does it go in but you can't turn the key?

If the key turns but the door doesn't unlock then it is likely something has come adrift inside the door.

If the key doesn't turn the lock then the lock is faulty or has been changed in the past for a a replacement the key doesn't fit.

Yes if the key won't turn the lock flood the lock with freeing oil. I was going to say WD40 but don't like to advertise.

Yes it will be a something disconnected. You'll have to take the door panel off and take a look inside, sounds an easy fix.

I have a similar problem, but my problem is that the remote locks/unlocks the passenger door only. not the drivers door. i can open both doors manually.
    any ideas?
