Hi I have only been a member of Copenworld for about a week, but have noticed a lot of the cars have names. I was just wondering what made you name the car and why that name? My car is called Rosie, a) because she is red in colour and b) because I used some of the money I inherited from my Mum to buy her and my Mum was called Rosemary.
My previous car, a Pajero Jnr, was called "ScootyPuff Junior" as a hat tip to Futurama. Naturally, this car would be called ScootyPuff, and the next car I get (probably a wagon) will be called "ScootyPuff Snr - The Doom-Bringer"
Hi Liz, mine's called Neville (which excited Copen-owner Neville, by the way !) cos my daughter-in-law is an inveterate car-namer! Their green Corsa was named 'Edward' as soon as it arrived, so when we parked our Copen outside their house for the first time, I asked her what she thought he ought to be called; one look and "Oh, that's Neville!". Mind you, she didn't know his roof went down, at that point, so maybe he's have had a different name had he arrived converted! Enjoy your Copening! Love Number 6's post, btw!
Mine is MLC. This stands for "my little car" or "my little copen" or, originally "mid-life crisis". I think I'm over the crisis now so MLC and I can grow old together peacefully!
Good evening Copen fans. Hope all is good? Our little silver bullet is called Buzz, mainly because someone once told me he was always buzzing around our local area, and his original registration was RK06 BZN (buzzing?) Shortly after I bought him, I decided to buy a registration to highlight his name and the fact that he was a KK (Kei Kar) The photo says it all. Cheers! PhillandLin and Buzz.
Mine is called Tsuki, "moon" in Japanese because she's Japanese, we live in Japan and she's a beautiful silver moon!
Hi Guzziman and his wife were told by the previous owner that the only way they would sell it to us was that the cars name be kept hence DTM is ‘Dennis the Menace’ and is kept locked in the garage when home as he’s always getting up to mischief.
No, my Copen could not have a name except "She". I am french, and I do not know how to use "correctly" the feminine or the masculine in English, and even more difficult the neutral. My Copen is "She", maybe because I’m a man, loll. And what to think about boats in english... Always "she" ? Rest assured, I’m not having sex with this wonderful car, and I have a lot of pleasure with her.
Ours is called Bettee Bumble…….. Little Golden Bettee Bumble Seems appropriate as we Bumble along! (She’s just coming up for 100,000 and still going strong!)
Four months after purchasing her, I decided to name her 'KINAKO', which in Japanese refers to roasted soybean flour that resembles the color of my car!
