Half of my climate controls were dark at night and I needed to change the bulb. Very easy to do. Remove radio, and reach behind the climate controls, you'll find two black sockets you can rotate and pull out. The bulb is a TSD 74, a 286 is the same, you just need to transfer the orange sleeve onto the new bulb. Hope this helps someone, I couldn't find what bulb I needed online until I checked myself, I also didn't know if the climate controls needed to be removed or not, turns out it doesn't.
