Recently bought a Copen, being barn stored while we work on it. Turbo, service, welding wheel arches. Think that is where damp coming in from wheel arches. What is the best way to dry it out, its under a open ended hay barn.

It's not quite clear where the damp is you refer to. Rot usually occurs around the rear wheel arches. The best thing is to inject all cavities everywhere (particularly the rear wheel arches and the sills, front to rear) and coat the underbody in general with a water and air expelling grease/sealant like Fluid Film or Lanoguard. This can be applied direct to rust and on damp surfaces and will neutralise the rust, which requires oxygen to spread. Don't use rubberised sealants which only hide the rust and allow it to spread out of sight.

I've recently bought some Lanoguard which is the new UK answer to Fluid Film. I haven't got round to using it yet, but it deploys lanolin like FF and maybe easier to apply in cooler temperatures.
