    Just a thought really...

Some Kei cars manage without a turbo - the Honda Beat for example.

If someone was to remove the Turbo from their Copen to make it an normally aspirated vehicle, what do you think the performance might be like?

I'm assuming that with the Turbo completely removed it might go a bit better than one with a broken turbo. But how much better? 650cc with such a low weight might be OK for a gentle drive, maybe? And how might someone go about getting a bit more go out of it without a turbo?

Standard Copens have enough power to keep up with traffic around town but struggles on the highway. Without the turbo it would be no fun.

Without the turbo you would need to increase compression a lot.
That would probably mean new pistons for a start.
Then a new tuneable ecu that would allow higher revs.
    Higher lift camshaft.
Also going to neednew exhaust manifold.

You could probably get it to match the power of the turbo but it would be hard to drive needibg heaps of revs.
