copen vivid 659cc 2005 when trying to open or close the roof via the switch, the roof motor should cut out whe the roof gets to its fully open point or to the roof full closed point. but the motor keeps going untill the switch is released. any ideas why its doing this? the roof light is permantly on.....
Microswitches aren't working, I'd guess at the clips for the fully closed ones, not sure where the ones are for fully open.

@Richard Miller Most of us post an introduction first ! Search the forum and you’ll find a YouTube video tutorial showing how to read the codes to identify the fault (no special equipment required). Then, when you’ve been a member for long enough, rather than reregistering, you can access the excellent resources section that includes the service manual for the roof. I know it’s a blunt reply, but just pitching in demanding help isn’t particularly endearing.
