Cobra fob/boot release issue

    I've got the cobra alarm tear drop fob and as I've read before for some others, it doesn't open the boot. I read where one person had a Cobra engineer come out and make a modification which cured it. Well I have just rang Cobra technical and they (no name as they said they are not meant to :( ) have emailed me the "how to" !!! :D Let's hope it works.

    Any one else with a Cobra alarm that doesn't open the boot?

    I've checked...we have a Laserline 213. Same problem though.

    I have that problem, and it drives me absolutely insane! Having to fiddle about opening the door to open the boot is such a pain, especially when you're struggling with bags of shopping.

    If the solution works, I'd be more than happy to publish it on copenworld for all to enjoy.

    One of our Copens has a Cobra alarm - the fob does open the boot, although it has three buttons...

    This is the fob that most of us - with a Cobra alarm - have.

    It would be amazing to be able to open the boot without climbing in my car and feeling around for the boot release :banghead:
