    Hi Folks,
Cable has been adjusted a month ago.
Now it is the time for the clutch kit to be replaced.
I could hear like cable snap when changing gear.
I called AA and the guy adjusted again and it is now stiffer.
I am now waiting for the clutch kit to be delivered.
My poor Copen is just sitting in my garage.

Clutch kit by B&B cost me about 180 on eBay.
It will probably cost me another 200 for labour.
Well... 5 years (38,000 miles) itsnt a long life for clutch but what can I do...?

My Copen had it's clutched changed when I bought it. That was about 38,000 miles too. I just put it down to the previous owner riding the clutch all the time.

when you say you had your clutch "changed" do you mean you had it replaced before something happened to it? or j had it replaced due to it breaking down?

When I test drove the Copen I noticed the clutch was slipping. The garage had a mechanic drive the car, he agreed that the clutch was slipping. The garage replaced it when I bought the car.

    Hi Adam,
Okay so it isn't only me at least :)
I have two previous owners and they both were ladies.
Clutch was stiff when I bought it at 23,000 miles in December 2010.
I drove about 14,000 miles (more than 2 years) since then. So I think the clutch oeverall did a good job for me.
