Clutch cable for 1.3 needed our friends at what was left at Daihatsu UK, who are meant to hold spares, have no cables. I will have to wait until mid/late October for one. are there any other non Daihatsu makes of cables that work ? If I buy a cable from Europe, a LHD cable, will it work on a RHD car? my car is off the road till I get a cable cheers Ceri
Hi Ceri, I usually order my car parts, mostly interior parts, from Shopping Cart — IMPEX JAPAN, and typically receive the parts within one week. However, finding the car part number can be challenging. I once contacted them for a part number, but they were unable to assist me. When it comes to engine parts, I would suggest ordering through an ex-Daihatsu dealer, Daihatsu, as the 1.3-litre engine has never been sold in Japan and some of the parts might be different.
