Quick question for those that have driven and owned the 1.3 and the .6 Copens.

Is the clutch pedal much heavier to press in the 1.3 than the .6?

    Thanks

Hello , I have both and the answer is no . I also have a 1.3 its got a very stiff clutch . I have replaced the clutch and the only thing I can assume is its the cable ...

I also have a1.3 with heavy clutch. It didn't change when a new clutch was fitted, my mechanic said it may be something internal to the gearbox.

I replaced the gear box as well . I believe it to be clutch cable . I could be wrong though .
    Many thanks Shane

update. Heavy clutch solved. Mechanic changed "output shaft cover (release bearing tube)" and the clutch is now so light its joyful. Part cost £115, plus 3 hours labour.

When my Mrs bought her car the clutch was like trying to put your foot through the floor. Changed the cable and it solved it.
Interesting to here it could be something else. Like Shane says, worth noting.
