I'm looking for replacement absorbers. Original ones seem to be too expensive, so I'm trying to find something other. A couple of questions from a newbie: 1) Which vendors offer good absorbers for casual driving? KYB, maybe others? 2) How do I determine that a certain part number is suitable for my copen? For example, I've seen mentions of Bilstein B4 in the forums, but I couldn't find Copen in their catalogue. I'm located on Russian Far East, so getting parts from Japan is no problem. Will appreciate any advice
Hi bro! I'm from Far East too (Khabarovsk). Have same problem, front shock look similar from a lot of car, but suspension travel on Copen is really small. I put some air in mine and it works better, but I`m not sure how long it will work... Don`t try to find rear shock yet...

Great news! I had no luck sourcing Bilstein shocks in Japan. Please keep us posted if the shocks finally become available.
A friend on ebay offered me a set of new Bilsteins for Copen for €1772. As Takeoff offers the Cross Racing Factory set for ¥ 130,000, which is 40% less, I can't justify the difference.
Don't know anything about the brand, but I ran across these in the UK, bit less than the Takeoff at £750 but I don't know how shipping ect compares for you. They also have the LSD Lambo door kits for £1280 Daihatsu Copen BC Racing V1 Coilovers ZF-04-V1-VA Only £747.12
The only link i found ...lot of money.. Bilsstein only produce these shocks in japan.. no export to eu.. TUNING チューニング|KM-Parts |Parts パーツ|KUMOI MOTORS クモイモータース

Hey, it's been a while, but I felt like I need to post the solution to this thread. So I ended up ordering Showa Tuning absorbers from Japan (with the help of local agent). The whole kit cost me around 750 USD along with delivery services back in 2016, works pretty fine since then!
