I bought my new Copen from Cherry Tree Garage near Clacton (contact details are posted on the directory page). It's an "official" Daihatsu dealer, and they're a friendly bunch. I don't know if most Daihatsu dealers are like this one, but they didn't seem like typical car dealers. I didn't feel like they were giving me any hard sell, and I felt very comfortable with giving them my business. The previous new car I bought was from a Nissan dealer, and it couldn't have been a bigger contrast. I felt they were more interested in getting their commission than helping me make an informed purchase that I would be happy with. I actually resented giving them my money! Needless to say, I won't be going back to the Nissan dealer again, but I'd be happy to go back to Cherry Tree if ever I feel the need to buy another Daihatsu.
