Got my car insurance with Churchill and they wanted proof that the car has an immobilizer, despite the fact they are standard fit on mine... they wanted proof or I would not be covered for it being stolen. They advised me to go to a garage to confirm it has one... Obviously the car does have one and it is mentioned in the manual. So I have sent a photocopy of my key fob and the page in the owners manual explaining it as proof by recorded delivery. I can't believe that an insurance company is unaware of the standard fit... only thing I can think of is that it is not as common as a Corsa! I argued with them a little, and if they are still not happy i'll ask them to inspect it at there own expense! Anyone else has insurance problems with their Copen? Cheers.
