Decided that I feel sorry for my poor car sitting on the driveway in the rain. are there any decent non expensive copen specific covers out there?

You can buy them anywhere, it cost about a fiver I think, only use it for snow.
Might be useful. I don't tend to take Nobby out so much in the winter. Although we have had one before for another car, and if they're too flimsy, the wind gets underneath them and rips them to shreds.
DaG is ok with his flimsy £5 one because he just weights it down with a couple of bags of sand. job done
Thanks for reminding me about that bloody sand. My flimsy five pound one, which now I've cast my mind back actually cost £1.50 from Argos clearance store at Stanley, is great. It folds up quickly and takes up little space so it is ideal to throw over the car on those winter evenings. Overal a cheap cover is a better option for me than clearing out my garage and putting the car in it at night. It would take forever.
None but there is a cement mixer in there. Bought it new many years ago, used it once to build a wall and its been in the garage ever since. Next to 4 interior doors I haven't fitted and of course that car alarm I bought for the Copen but again never fitted. I've just finished making a bird table with aluminium tiled roof and stained oak detail. It looks great but cant decide where to site it so that's currently in the garage untill I decide. I need a second garage really and in the meanwhile the Copen gets a thirty bob plastic cover to keep out the elements.
You and my husband should get together. You'd be amused for hours comparing garage-content anecdotes. You couldn't fit a trowel in ours, let alone a car.
I've also got a shed full of shi, I mean junk and a walk around loft full of such useful items as every generation of Sega console and games. From the master system onwards to the Dreamcast they sit gathering dust. Three budgie cages, a load of RC gliders and boats plus a collection of Hornby train stuff. I must have a clear out, one day. On second thoughts the kids can do it when I'm gone, the stuff will probably be worth more than the house.
i think the reason some houses have double garages is so you can fit 1 car in the garage - and also the junk.
If anybody is interested Lidl have elasticated car covers in three different sizes which went on sale today. They fold up into a round bag and are only £12.99. I guess the smallest would be best for the Copen. http://www.lidl.co.uk/cps/rde/SID-6...our-offers-2491.htm?action=showDetail&id=6191
I'm not old enough to remember that show. Believe it or not i did have a bike and sidecar. It was a Jawa CZ 350 with a Velorex sidecar. I bought it off a bloke in Bshop Stortford when I lived in Reading early eighties. The bloke who sold it to me was upgrading to a Reliant Robin, some upgrade. I wonder if you can still drive a three wheeler on a bike licence?
with the garage piled up high, with the shed over flowing and the loft space chocker, DaG had to come up with other places to store his bike, his collection of old issues of Arthritis monthly and underpants which no longer had functional elastic......
