Forgive us Copen fans, for we have sinned. Fuelled by the excitement of watching the first race of the 'new era' in Formula One yesterday morning, congratulations Nico sorry Lewis I was tempted to take Buzz out of hibernation for 'a bit of a blast'. The roads were dry and empty and the sun was shining, I couldn't resist. There's a particularly brilliant stretch of road very close to us which twists and turns and dips very sharply at least three times in about 1/2 a mile. I've owned and driven numerous 'fast' cars in the past, but none with quite the razor sharp steering or fantastic grip that Buzz has. The new wheels and 45mm profiles definitely help here. I'm not saying that the Copen is a fast car, but just so nippy and well, bloody 'chuckable' Don't tell Lin, but we did take off for a very small moment, and definitely one of the rear wheels lifted off the road two or three times.
