Hi Kai, recommended oil for the 660cc engine is 5W30 2.5l without oil filter change 2.8l with oil filter change (every 2nd oil change) dsb is right with oil changes every 5.000 km, in addition Daihatsu states "OR every half year". Andreas

No, it doesn't need to be fully synthetic. I believe the API rating is SG or higher, which every new oil should support. Since you are just after replacing the turbo, I'd recommend going for a more expensive oil such as Castrol's fully synthetic Magnatec to ensure the turbo lasts as long as it can
